Preparing the photos

Preparing the perfect image for your custom pet portrait is an essential step in ensuring a beautiful and accurate representation of your furry friend. Here are some tips to help you prepare the best images for your artist, Vera Kuprik:

☀️ Provide multiple photos: Vera recommends providing one or more photos of your pet to ensure she has multiple points of reference. The more photos you can provide, the better she can capture your pet's unique characteristics and personality in the final portrait.

☀️ Capture the photo correctly: If you're taking a photo of a physical picture, try to take it from a top-down angle to avoid skewing the image. If the photograph is under glass, remove it before taking the picture to prevent glare from the light.

☀️ Send original files: When sending digital images, send the original files if possible. Screenshots or low-resolution images can lower the quality of the final portrait and make the artist's job more difficult. It's best to send the original, uncropped files for the best possible results.

☀️ Use natural light: If you're taking a new photo, try to take it outside in natural light. Avoid having the sun behind your pet, which can cast a shadow on their face. Using natural light can help to capture the colors and details of your pet's coat accurately.

In addition to providing clear and high-quality images, it's also helpful to describe your pet's behavior and likes to Vera. Understanding your pet's personality can help her capture their unique character and bring the portrait to life.

In summary, by following these tips and providing as much information as possible about your pet, Vera Kuprik can create a custom pet portrait that captures your pet's essence and personality.
